Conversion to Executive Function Coach Training

Connections in Mind is recruiting more freelance executive function coaches! Connections in Mind is an organisation focused on supporting people from all backgrounds to improve executive function skills such as planning, prioritising, time management, organisation, emotional regulation and metacognition. All of us have our unique executive function profile, with strengths and weaknesses. Through coaching we support people to flourish and to improve their self-esteem and well-being.

We are looking for exceptional candidates, who are already fully trained and working with adults as life or transformational coaches, to join our freelance team.

Job Description

Working hours:

Our executive function coaches typically work with 3 or 4 people at a time, alongside their other commitments. Coaching normally takes the form of a weekly call for 30 to 50 minutes and occasional supportive text messages and other written communications. The working hours are usually early mornings or late afternoons/evenings and weekends. You will quickly build a strong rapport with your clients and consistency and reliability are key. If you are going on holiday you need to give a month’s notice. We also operate an annual shutdown in the first two weeks of August to give coaches and their clients time to relax.

Rates for this work are calculated on an hourly basis  depending on experience. Rates are billable monthly at the end of the month for payment at the end of the following month. Coaches may have the opportunity to advance to higher rates and responsibility depending on their performance and tenure with Connections in Mind. As a new and rapidly growing organisation we offer excellent opportunities for progression and personal development. We only pay for travel time and expenses to locations outside of Zone 4 in London.

We expect all candidates who work with adults through our organisation to have a formal coaching qualification. We will then put you through our Conversion to Executive Function Coaching training: 2 hrs of online training to familiarise you with executive functions as well as group training day at our offices where you will learn more about our approach and our expectations of freelance coaches working with us.

As part of our commitment to excellence and continued professional development we also ask that each coach attend a monthly supervision of 15 minutes per client they are working with as well as a monthly 1 hour peer supervision with a group of 4 – 5 other CiM Coaches. Our CPD time is seen as our investment in our coaches professional development and is unpaid.
