We have had great success helping children of a range of ages to succeed! Hear from them and their parents about how valuable coaching was for them.
I thought I should share with you, that my son said something interesting the other day. Walking in the park, he randomly said to me that he realises sometimes he thinks about Dragon City, or some of his other favourite things like Pokemon, a bit too much when he is supposed to be paying attention to other things (like schoolwork). But now after all the work he has done with you, he is able to realise that and switch off those thoughts and focus on what he needs to do. Isn’t that good?!
My exam results hadn’t gone as I had hoped and I was really starting to loose motivation. Organisation was the biggest thing I struggled with….. Having a coach just really really helped me get through everything and be able to motivate myself to do better.
Before I had a coach I was really disorganised and I would rely on my parents to help me revise and stuff, which was ok, but they were doing most of the work. It helped me to become more independent and my teachers now call me Miss Uber organised.
Before I had the coach I was struggling with the structure of essays and what to include. I was struggling with revision techniques, I couldn’t find the technique that worked for me. My coach has given me loads of tools that I can use, my teachers have really noticed the change in my essay writing especially
It goes without saying that we cannot thank you enough for the wonderful support you have given Angus since you took him on. I would imagine he was not the easiest of cases in the sense of his reluctance to learn. I can honestly say we have never seem him so committed to his studies as this last couple of months…..its been a joy not to have to nag him and more importantly it has been great to see him realising that there is a feeling of satisfaction from hard work and that it should by rights pay off.
Overall what you have instilled in him are a working set of formulas for life that he can use going forward, along with an air of confidence in his academic abilities…..all priceless and we commend you for your dedication to Angus.
