Roxane Barsky

Hello! I am an advanced executive function coach and trainee psychotherapist. I have worked with adults and university students for many years, supporting them with their EF skills, professional and personal goals, academic challenges, and emotional wellbeing. I specialise in both neurodiverse and neurotypical adults, but I have particular experience with those who have ADHD/ADD, dyslexia, ASD, Tourette’s, OCD, and anxiety. I also work with people in the LGBTQ+ community. Before training as a coach, I worked for several years as a tutor, specialising in essay-writing, exam preparation, and university studies. Prior to this, I worked in the film and TV industry as a producer’s assistant and development executive. I still pursue my creative interests today, and have worked closely with adults looking to develop their own creative goals.

As someone with dyslexia myself, I fully understand the challenges that neurodiverse and EF-challenged people go through, particularly in their personal and professional lives. I am deeply committed to supporting people through their difficulties on both an emotional and practical level. I pride myself on being a warm, friendly, and patient coach, as well as one who is structured and pragmatic. I have been complimented for making my clients feel at ease and inspired to work on their challenges.

I hold a BA and Master’s in History from King’s College London and Oxford University. I also have a foundation degree in Counselling and Psychotherapy from CCPE. Additionally, I am the in-house educational consultant for The CODE Education, the tutoring arm of Connections in Mind, and I carry out EF workshops and trainings for adults.

Outside of work, I enjoy learning languages (French and Italian). I love reading, especially fiction, as well as non-fiction books on neuroscience/psychology, philosophy, psychoanalysis, and history. I also love film and screenwriting.

I so look forward to meeting you in a chemistry call.
