As a CIC we will always act for the benefit of our community: neurodivergent people. These are the activities and benefits we have registered with Companies House (England, UK)

Raising awareness of neurodiversity with different audiences through communications, events and campaigns | The community will benefit by being better understood and appreciated by the general public. An increase in understanding, will lead to more compassion, less discrimination and a more neuro-inclusive society where our community feels that they belong and can flourish. |
High-quality, evidence-led specialist coaching delivered to neurodivergent children and adults, which equip them with the tools to thrive. | The community will benefit by learning about their brains and how to overcome the challenges associated with being neurodivergent in the context of learning, working, relationships and mental health. They will learn to value their differences which will support their mental health, physical wellbeing, self confidence and contribution to society. |

The research will inform Connections in Mind’s offerings and also help improve the technology available more generally in the market through competitive forces. Maintain a high-quality, current, evidence-led, pioneering, online education hub; using innovative learning tech. to meet the needs of neurodivergent children and adults | The community will benefit from innovative learning technology which will support them to learn more about their brains, to appreciate the value of being neurodivergent and how to harness their strengths. This will support neurodivergent people’s mental health, physical wellbeing, self confidence and contribution to society. |
Contributing to the research evidence base – research investigating the effectiveness of how coaching, training and community support, meet the needs of children and adults with executive dysfunction. | The community will benefit as a stronger evidence base will encourage more high quality support to be developed and offered and thus the community will be able to choose from a wider pool of high quality, evidence based support from a variety of service providers. It will also enable us to hone the effectiveness of coaching, training and community support that we offer. |
Working with keyworkers and professionals; GPs, nurses, social workers, prison officers, police officers and more to provide high quality training and build awareness. | The community will benefit by being better understood by professionals. An increase in knowledge and understanding, will lead to improved signposting to services and better support where our community’s needs can be appropriately met. This will lead to improved mental and physical health outcomes for our community. |
Working with schools, FE and HE to raise awareness of executive functioning skills and the impact on learning, people’s relationships and daily life through training, research partnerships and consultancy work. | The community will benefit by being better understood by educators . An increase in knowledge and understanding, will lead to improved student access to education services, higher attendance, improved academic outcomes, improved mental and physical health outcomes. |
